Company History

Ward Bros. (Steel) Ltd is a privately owned company, established in 1974, specialising in the processing and recycling of ferrous and non ferrous scrap metals in the North East of England.

We are based in Darlington, with depots in Newcastle, Sunderland and Darlington, and are ideally placed to cover the North East of England. We are capable of serving a wide range of people in the region, including the general public, businesses, government bodies, blue-chip organisations, and more.

With a modern fleet of vehicles, we offer a fast and efficient collection service. Metals are then sorted and processed before supplying UK and International steel mills and foundries.
